Dealing with intermittent Faults : BMW 2 series N20 Engine
In automotive repairs, the most concerning issues are intermittent faults that occur unpredictably. For example, we recently had a BMW 2 Series with an N20 engine. The owner reported occasional drivetrain warning lights, loss of power, misfires, and a coolant tank that always indicated the need to top up coolant despite being filled.
Restoring power : BMW F10 535i Drivetrain Issue
we have another new drivetrain case to share. This BMW F10 535i with an N55 engine had its drivetrain light come on suddenly while driving, accompanied by a misfire. Upon inspection at our workshop, we found that the LPHP (low pressure fuel pump) was not providing sufficient pressure, causing the engine to malfunction. While replacing the LPHP, we also checked the spark plugs and found that they needed replacement as well.
